Public perception of homeless people : Attitudes, opinion and activities

Abstract

The article deals with the topic of attitudes towards homeless people. These attitudes are important because they have direct influence on behavior and indirectly they have impact on the formulation of public policy.

In international comparison we can see that attitudes are similar (similarly negative) in all coutries included in analysis (Slovakia, Austria, Hungary, Greece, Finland and the Czech Republic).
