Abstract
The article gives an overview of land use changes in Czechia in the period 1845 - 2000. Data sources, used methods e.g. index of change, index of relative development, coefficient of anthropogenic impact, land use changes typologies etc. are introduced.
Typological regions in Czechia with a similar land use structure are defined.
