Mortality of Children in the First Year of Life in the Czech Republic

Abstract

This article describes developments in the Czech Republic's infant mortality rate from past to present. It reviews methods for calculating infant mortality rate, as well as definitions for live and still births.

It also analyzes infant mortality in greater detail - according to regional and international differences or selected risk factors.
