Abstrakt
This paper aims to focus on an overview of expressions of portraiture in the artistic and commercial photography, especially. For a better integrity, we distinguish these areas into separate sections.
Paper is dedicated to both the differences in terms of technical and expressive means, but also demonstrate an unconventional portrait as a strategy to attract customers in commercial photography. Article reflects aspects of contemporary portrait photography and concepts of pseudo-individuality, commercialization and blending boundaries of artistic and advertising photography.
