The Signification of Diagnostics of Learning Styles in Supporting of Study od Universits Students

Abstract

The authors of this paper are focusing during several years a project at the beginning of university study, that aims to support the study of students of first year. The default factor for this project are the long-term experiences of this authors with ineffective using of the correct methods of learning.

The students often dont know, how to use the effective way of learning and which learning style he prefers. The project is based on a simple diagnostics of learning style that can be used by the specialists without psychological education.

The students receive the informations about their learning style, in group work and model situations look for similarities and differencies, that are characteristic for specific learning style. They also learn the principles and techniques of effective study.
