Abstract
The textbook (the 1th section) gives an explanation of the general civil law, as well as dealing with the regulation of legitimate civil rights. For a narrow and specific comprehension of the themes in civil law and how they relate to commercial and labour law, the civil law textbook offers a sound base for the study of Czech private law.
The textbook also gives a review of the European process of harmonization in the area of private law.
