Abstract
This article deals with the environmental safety as a part of the general safety of the Czech Republic. It is focused on legal regulation of the protection against natural disasters (floods a fires) as well as industrial transport accidents on the example of the Czech law.
Authors underline espscially the importance of the international and European cooperation and commom action system in this area.
