Abstract

For patients on renal dialysis therapy (RDT) is typical a hypokinesis, which is the result of their health state. Owing to a hypokinesis there are problems which are connected with function of motion system.

For successful therapy of these patients is necessary to realise kinesiologic analysis. The deviations in functional movements were assessed in a group of twenty five patients on RDT (mean age 63.0 ± 14.3 years) and in a group of eighteen non - dialysis patients (mean age 47.8 ± 12.9 years). These groups was supplied with both sexes.

The both groups were investigated by kinesiologic analysis (analysis of movement of joints, the functional movement of spinal column, the movement's stereotypes, the strength of muscles, etc.). As subsidiary assessment was employed a questionnaire, which was intent on a level of motion, sporting and working activity before and within RDT and to verify possible negative impact of chronic renal failure (CRF) and its complications in patient's general motion activity.

In mostly cases was found out worse state of motion system of experimental group in confront with control group. According to the results of the questionnaire majority of patients on RDT had a lower moving activity.

We may conclude that the probably causes of worse state of motion system of patients on RDT in comparison with healthy subjects is hypokinesis. According to literature an acceptable choice of motion activity could lead to improve or stabilize patient's general state.

By patients on RDT is above all important to enable them live as well as health people or to approach them.
