Exercise programs for patiens with chronic renal failure on dialysis treatment therapy and their employment in quality of life (QL) influence of these patiens

Abstract

Chronic renal failure is weighty disease, which is concomitant with complications, which are not only with own disease, but also with dialysis treatment therapy connected. Patients on dialysis often suffer from renal osteopathy, which is a cause of bone, joint and muscle complications; the next are peripheral polyneuropathy, anemia, hypertension, hyperlipoproteinemia, myopathy of muscles, etc.

In consequence of the disease process and complications have patients on the dialysis therapy decreased efficiency of cardiovacular system, frequent presence of functional disorders of the movement system and their cause is decrease of physical activity and preference of the sedentary lifestyle. Strict dialysis regime and own disease are for patients very stressed and limited and very often lead to feeling of anxiety, inferiority and depression.

Their quality of life (QL) is getting worse. The aim of this study is to compile individually and team exercise programs and verify their infuence on QL of patients on dialysis treatment therapy.
