Andi paramisi sig džal – Time goes fast in fairytales : Text collection of South Central Romani in Hungary

Abstrakt
This text collection attempts to contribute to the documentation of the so-called South Central Romani in Hungary, a disappearing dialect of Romani. It contains transcriptions of spontaneous narratives and conversations in various endangered varieties of Romani and their English translation.
The texts have been chosen so that – apart from showing several South Central Romani varieties – they would be of some ethnographic value. All texts included in the collection have been recorded and transcribed by the author between 2008 and 2011.
