Numero Arithmetico notata Series officiorum pro Choro Musico Ustensi (1588): a source of polyphony full of surprises

Abstract

The paper deals with yet unevaluated late sixteenth-century manuscript (CZ-Pu, Ms. 59 r 483) of the polyphonic Order of Mass, hand-copied by Jacobus Mollerus Sr. (born in Banská Bystrica / Neusohl / Besztercebánya) from printed and manuscript originals for the choir of the Literati in Ústí nad Labem / Ausssig in nothern Bohemia.
