Killing an end point with an open mapping revisited

Abstract

This paper deals with the question if the end points of a smooth dendroid are mapped into the end points under an open mapping posed by J.~J.~Charatonik and W.~J.~Charatonik. We follow up on the previous negative answers by providing another rather simple example where this is not the case.
