Abstrakt
The study outlines the main features and trends in the relations of Czechoslovakia to her two German neighbors (FRG, GDR) in the years 1985-1989, ie in the so-called perestroika period - with a focus in transition 1989. Not only the official interstate relations are taken into account, but also the civil society dimension, eg the contacts between the Czechoslovak and East German dissidents.
