Ecomorphological monitoring of the river network in the Liběchovka catchment

Abstract

The contribution deals with the ecomorphological assessment of the river habitat in the Liběchovka water basin. Three methods were used for the ecomorphological evaluation: EcoRivHab (Matoušková 2003, 2007), LAWA Field Survey (LAWA-FS 1999) and Rapid Bioassessment Protocol (Barbour at al 1999).

The study provides a comparative analysis of the field mapping outputs obtained by using the individual methods and a presentation of different evaluation approaches.
