Structural Changes in Mortality in the Czech Republic and Slovakia between 1991 and 2006

Abstract

The article presents a comparative analysis of mortality by avoidable causes of deaths in the Czech Republic and Slovakia between 1991 and 2006. Structural changes are identified and observed in the context of the transformatio of the helath care system.
