Jincelites vogeli gen. et sp. nov. (Hyolitha) from the Cambrian of the Czech Republic (Příbram-Jince Basin, Teplá-Barrandian region)

Abstract

The new hyolithid species Jincelites vogeli has been described from the "Middle" Cambrian Jince formation of the Barrandian area. This species has been known since 19th century.

The hyolith Jincelites vogeli bears some specific information on palaeoecological interactions within the Cambrian.
