The time-course of agonist-induced solubilization of trimeric Gqalpha/G11alpha proteins resolved by two-dimensional electrophoresis

Abstract

Prolonged agonist stimulation of cells expressing high levels of thyrotropin-releasing hormone and Gqalpha/G11alpha protein caused marked down-regulation and subcellular redistribution of these G-proteins.
