Abstract

Disulfonated derivatives of 9,10-diphenyl anthracene (dsDPA) are known carriers of singlet oxygen. DsDPA and corresponding endoperoxides (dsDPAO(2)) form host-guest complexes with native cyclodextrins (i.e. beta-CD and gamma-CD).
