Abstract

This book is composed of two parts: In the first part we look for economics in myths, religion, theology, philosophy, and science. In the second part, we look for myths, religion, theology, philosophy, and science in economics.

We should go beyond economics and study what beliefs are “behind the scenes,” ideas that have often become the dominant yet unspoken assumptions in our theories.
