The effect of soil drought on gases exchange in the leaves of maize (Zea mays L.)

Abstract

We have monitored the photosynthesis and transpiration rates in 15 genotypes of maize subjected to drought stress or cultivated under optimum conditions. Significant differences between response of individual genotypes to stress were observed.
