Coordination properties of cyclam (1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane) endowed with two methylphosphonic acid pendant arms in the 1,4-positions

Abstract

The title ligand was prepared by a new route. Thermodynamic stability of the complexes was determined as well as X-ray crystal structures of several intermediates, ligand and two nickel(II) complexes.
