Lanthanide(III) complexes of bis(phosphonate) monoamide analogues of DOTA: Bone-seeking agents for imaging and therapy

Abstract

Lanthanide(III) complexes DOTA monoamides having -CH(PO3H2)2 group in amide chain (C1-C3) were investigated as MRI contrast agents (Gd3+) and as radiopharmaceuticals(177Lu). In vivo experiments showed stable binding to bones.
