Service Orientation in Environmental Information Systems

Abstrakt

The invited contribution shows the necessity to design global environmental information systems as service oriented systems and presents service oriented development patterns usable in environmental information systems. Service orientation enables the collaboration of environmental information systems with other systems, e.g. with e-government.
