Symmetrically tetrasubstituted p-nitrocalix[4]arenes: Synthesis, spectra and crystal structures

Abstract

The synthesis, characterisation and crystal structures of some symmetrically tetrasubstituted p-nitrocalix[4]arenes are reported in this paper. The geometry of calix[4]arene scafold is discussed here.
