Comparison of sensitizers by detecting reactive oxygen species after photodynamic reaction in vitro

Abstract

The reactive oxygen species (ROS) has a crucial effect on photodynamic therapy (PDT). We examined the ROS formation by means of three porphyrin sensitizers and compared their cytotoxic effectivity.
