Mesoporous molecular sieves based hybrid catalysts for alkene metathesis and ring-opening metathesis polymerization

Abstract

MoCl5 , Mo alkylidene complexes and [Ru(p-cymene)Cl2]2 were anchored on siliceous mesoporous sieves and catalysts formed were confirmed in ROMP of cycloalkenes and metathesis of higher 1-alkenes.
