Perfect images of absolute Souslin and absolute Borel Tychonoff spaces

Abstract

Perfect images of scattered-K-analytic spaces are scattered-K-analytic. This answers a question of Hansell.

Many other absolute descriptive classes, including Čech-analytic spaces and Borel classes, are also stable with respect to perfect mappings.
