A postprocessing procedure for symmetry-breaking bifurcation (a case study)

Abstrakt

The aim is to study the imperfect bifurcation scenario. A numerical tool is proposed for this purpose.

It consists in an approximation of the diffeomorphism which links the bifurcation equation with an unfolded normal form of the problem.
