Abstrakt
Students` interest in science has been declining in the western countries. The need of science knowledge among citizens is growing as we have to make decisions based on it in our everyday lives.
Therefore we should motivate young people towards science. One of the possible ways is to get pupils engaged in practical work.
Molecular biology and genetics are two of the key disciplines to understand new approaches but there are nearly no practical courses tough for them. I will introduce practical courses (device dependent and independent)we teach to future biology teachers as well as experienced teachers.
