Slavery in the New World in the Fifteenth to Nineteenth Century

Abstract

The topic of the monograph is slavery and its interconnection with the European overseas expansion of the 15th to 19th century, especially the colonization of the New World. The phenomenon of slavery is analyzed as for its economic and cultural importance and its contribution for formation of the world system.
