Abstract
The second Czech-Brasilian symposium focused on the problems of the Amazonas in the past and present. Its inherent parts were as well contributions of Czech and Brasilian participants, as a proyection of a documentary film of the scientific expedition "Humboldt" (2000) and a videoconference about the rights of indigenous inhabitants.
