Abstract
The article describes the history and the scope of content of the Map Collection of the Faculty of Science of Charles University in Prague. The TEMAP project includes professional cataloguing of old maps and atlases as well as subsequent digitalisation.
Users may look through the documents on the Internet and with the help of new technologies they do work with them efficiently and use them for the purposes of science and research. Basic information on vedutas, atlases and old maps is also to be found here.
