Abstract
Text claim to reconstruct the writing, publication, reception, and consequences of the 'Two thousands words' manifesto, which is among the best expressions of nascent civil society in Czechoslovakia in 1968. Author also describes the role of the journalists at the time of Intervention (august 1968).
