Text, interpretation and actual perception of some prosodic realizations in Karel Čapek piece Jak se dělá divadlo.

Abstract

The paper deals with comparison of prosody of two lines in two dramatizations of Karel Čapek´s text. Based on perception tests results, we established three categories of sense autonomy of prosody: monosemantic, bisemantic and asemantic.

By comparison of appropriate lines from both dramatizations we conclude that when the interpreters are dependant solely on sound means of stylization, prosody is evaluated more unambiguously.
