Abstract
Our material consists of 240 MRI examinations of fetuses with gestational age median of 23 weeks. The examinations have been performed in the period of years 2005 to 2012.
Vast majority of indication for MRI has been stated based on suspiciou ultrasound findings, where the referring sonologist considered addition of MR study valuable for diagnosis statemenet. We evaluated the freguencies of indications in various organ systems and focused on the potentioal strengtrs and weaknesses of MRI.
