Abstract
The article deals with issues of more advanced methods of video retrieval. First chapter describes video and its components in general, chapters two, three and four deal with task of text, sound and picture in video and in retrieval respectively.
Free access search engines are introduced, which allow to search through text and sound or image respectively. Fifth chapter describes troubles with video playback on comupter and troubles with video picture.
Due to absence of complex video search engine, there are mentioned suggestions how the search engine could look.
