Abstract
In the viewpoint of Czech language, the book deals with pragmatic phenomena such as temporal and spatial deixis, the nature of the so-called performativity, theory of implicatures, theory of im/politeness, and metapragmatics. Author´s theoretical stance is the so-called moderate pragmatics.
