Information Behaviour of Users at the Department of Science Information at 2nd Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague
Abstract
The result of qualitative research was introduced at Information Interaction Conference in Bratislava on 12th September, 2013. The research was realised at the Department of Science Information at the 2nd Medical Faculty of Charles University and University Hospital in Motol during May and July, 2013.
The goal of the research was to find out except actual information needs of students and employees how they are informed about superstructural services which library offers (they are reference, retrieval, interlibrary services, educational and promotional services). On the basis of interviews with library employees there was created a questionnaire which compared information behaviour of individual users, superstructural and social sites services use, and the evaluation of information literacy teaching.
The results were presented at the conference in the presentation provided with graphs and charts.
