Abstract
Clasp-retained partial dentures belong to most techologically exacting types of dental prostheses. Their reliable and long-term functionality depends predominantly on proper collaboration and good communication between dental office and laboratory.
Their relative disadvantages are pretention to their fabrication and higher cost but it could be modified by the use of modern working procedures.
