The experience with enzymotherapy in complex therapy of urogenital infection Chlamydia trachomatis

Abstract

32 patients have been included in the study (16 males and 16 females from the heterosexual couples) with acute uncomplicated urogenital infection with Chlamydia sp. All the patients were treated by Azitromycin (AZT) (1x 500 mg / day), 3 days and 8 couples also used Wobenzym (W) (3 x 5 tablets / day) - 2 weeks as a supportive treatment.

Swabs from the urogenital tract of patients were examined 4 weeks after therapy finished. Results: from the group with only AZT therapy 56,25% persons was negative and from the second group (AZT + W) 81,25 patients was negative.
