The effect of new proteasome inhibitors, belactosin A and C, on protein metaoblism in isolated rat skeletal muscle

Abstrakt

The aim of our study was to find out the direct effects of new proteasome inbibitors, belactosin A and C (potential anti-tumour agents), on the protein metabolism in isolated rat skeletal muscle. We proved that belactosins affected basic parameters of protein metabolism, the response was muscle-and belactosin-type-dependent.
