A key role of aluminium in phosphorus availability, food web structure, and plankton dynamics in strongly acidified lakes

Abstract

Study of extracellular phosphatases activity, aluminium speciation and phosphorus cycling in lakes in the Bohemian Forest has shown their influence on structure of plankton communities and on plankton recovery from the acid stress.
