Abstract
Description of skeletal muscle degeneration and regeneration induced by heterochronic isotransplantation or toxin is focused on immunohistochemical characterization of expression of nestin and few other markers. Changes in nestin distribution in the course of skeletal muscle regeneration, muscle revascularization and reinnervation are described.
