Specific approach to diabetics of old age with kidney disease

Abstract

K/DOQI recommendations for old-age diabetics with kidney disease are summarized. In principle, the rules are the same as for younger patients, but their application must také into consideration age-related differences (adjustment of drug dosage, lower functional ability, ect).
