Abstract

A 16-year old girl presented with muscular weakness and hypokalemia due to renal tubular acidosis. Sjogren´s syndrome was diagnosed as the underlying cause.

Sjogren´s syndrome is a rare disease in childhood and adolescence and should be considered in patients presenting with hypokalemic paralysis.
