Abstract
Review is oriented to the questions of: a) how much the quality of life of a child (worsening due to a disease) influences his/her functioning at school, b) specific difficulties that a hospitalized child has during his/her stay in hospital and after the return back to school, c) overall life satisfaction of healthy children with school life.
