Optimalization of Paced AV Delay Using Atrial Contribution Index

Abstrakt

This book describes in detail an original, objective method of paced AV delay optimization using atrial contribution index (ACI). ACI is obtained from the amplitudes in pulse oximetry tracing.

Good agreement of ACI with reference atrial contribution index derived from invasively registered blood pressure tracings was proven. A fast, cheap, objective and fully non-invasive method of paced AV delay optimization has thus been developed.
