Abstract
The article deals with diabetic wound infection, especially in a diabetic foot syndrome. It defines the term of infection, explains pathofysiology of diabetic wound infection.
The biggest part of the article is dedicated to a management of diabetic foot infection treatment. The diabetic foot infection is unique in comparison to infection of different localization and infection of non-diabetics.
Early diagnosis and treatment improves morbidity and mortality of diabetics.
