Primary hemostasis in patients treated with LDL-apheresis for severe familiar hypercholesterolemia : a prospective pilot trial to take advantage of PFA-100 analysis to rationalize therapeutic LDL-cholesterol elimination procedure ANOTACE AJ: In patients with familiar hypercholesterolemia, LDL-apheresis results in primary hemostasis normalization. Investigation of primary hemostasis using PFA-100 analyser is not a suitable marker and should not be used to determine the optimal intensity of individual LDL-apheresis procedures.
