Abstract
This review article summarizes up-to-date information on MRP2 transporter. The comprehesive text describes this protein from its structure, transport mechanisms, substrate spectrum and its significance for pharmacology up to the different pathways of regulation and modification of its function, which can underlie some important pharmacokinetic interactions.
